WAPPP's Initiative on Blended finanace for PPP
Blended Finance refers to the deployment of concessional capital (public and philanthropic) alongside commercial capital countries and enhance the financial viability of projects that deliver public infrastructure and services.
WAPPP believes that blended finance can be an important tool to help mobilize private investment for environmentally- and socially-responsible PPP projects in developing countries and is dedicating its efforts in 2025 to explore how blended finance can be utilized more effectively and efficiently in PPPs.
